1. The images of the calendar are placed as a background thus the section with the dates sometimes is hardly visible, particularly, if dark photos are placed on the background, as well as it could be that the date section is on people faces.

Solution: Drag the picture with a mouse cursor from the left side to the image field stipulated on the calendar. Do not open the photos while placing the background.

2. On the calendar there is selected an inappropriate colour of the grid and/or figures that blend with the background colour, thus the grid or figures are not visible.

Solution: Adjust the colour of the backgrounds/ grids/ figures on the calendar for all calendar months.

3. Inappropriate placement of images, sometimes vertical pictures are placed in a horizontal picture orientation, or the placements have not been adjusted, where images do not match the cadre, thus a significant part of the picture can be cut off.

Solution: Revise the offered picture placements, choose the most suitable, or own placement, as it is possible to modify the sizes and placements of the images at own discretion. Modify the cadres for images.

4. Poor quality picture, possibly dark, blurred, foggy.

Solution: Pay attention to warning signs of the incompliance of picture quality. Albumi.eu recommends prior to designing a layout to complete the processing and correction of the pictures, to choose photos of good quality.

5. Ordering is not completed to the end, so the order is not considered to be submitted for confirmation.

Solution: Once you have pressed the button "Order", it is necessary to verify the order details and again press the big button "Order", only then the order will be sent for confirmation.

The process of designing of a photo-album and calendar

1. How fast can one design own photo-album or calendar?

If the images have already been uploaded, then using the wizard help, your photo album or calendar after a few mouse clicks will be created and sent for production in 5 minutes.

2. What does it mean to design a photo-book or calendar by means of the wizard?

If you choose to have your photo-book or calendar designed by the wizard, it means that all the selected images will be automatically sorted in a photo-book or calendar, grouping them according to the time the pictures were taken.

3. Is it possible to change the placement of images in the album or calendar designed by means of the wizard?

You have possibility to modify the layout of each page, even if it was created with the assistance of the wizard. Choose the type of layout you prefer - click one of the options offered, the layout will be changed automatically. You can exchange pictures and delete pictures from some page and place them on another page.

4.How to insert pictures?

Choose the picture on the left side, holding down the left mouse button, drag to the desired page. If you pull the image to an empty space, it will be added to the page, if you pull it over the existing image, then the dialog box will be displayed:

"Replace with this image?"

- OK - picture will be replaced;

- Cancel – the new image will be placed next to it

5. How many methods of placement of pictures are available there?

Overall number of placements exceeds 1300 and this number is growing. We trust that you will find a preferable layout to have your photo book as you want to see it.

6. Can I create my own layout of images?

Yes, of course. You can create your own layout, freely adding, deleting, changing, modifying and moving images within the page. Also, you can insert a picture as a background, arranging other pictures atop of it. Be the artist of your photo-book!

7. How many pictures can be displayed on a single page?

On one page as in a photo book so calendar it is possible to display up to 8 photos.

8. Is it possible to rotate photos?

Yes, it is. Click with the left mouse button the icon and you will be able to freely rotate the image.

9.Is it possible to relocate and exchange the places of the pictures?

Yes, click on the subjected photo and drag to the desired location.

If you want to exchange the places of some pictures, then click on the picture you want to relocate, and drag over the picture you want to replace it with. The dialog box will be displayed:

„Do you want to exchange the location of these images?”

-OK – the pictures will be exchanged;

-Cancel – the dragged picture will be located there, where you leave it (creating own layout).

This function is active within the framework of one page.

10. How to select the background for a photo-book or calendar?

In the section “Background” select:

Colour – from the offered colours or click on the colour circle, and choose any colour;

Some of the provided images;

Freely selected image from own galleries.

The background can be placed for a specified page, opening of the book (two pages), or the whole book.

11. Can I place my image as a background?

As the background for both a photo book and calendar pages there can be placed any freely selected image of any of own galleries, by clicking on at the background pictures.

If the desired photo is not in the galleries, then you can upload it and immediately insert.

12. Is it possible to use photos from several galleries while designing a photo-book or calendar?

Yes, it is. Pictures from several galleries can be selected at the beginning, while choosing the pictures to be used for a photo-book or calendar, as well as in the development process. To do this, click on this icon .

13. Is it possible to modify the size and orientation of the photo-book or calendar?

You can change the size of a photo-book during the entire album-making process up to the moment of ordering, in the section "Covers and Paper" placing cursor on the size box, there will automatically appear the possible sizes of a photo album, by clicking on the desired size, it will be replaced. Next to it you can choose the orientation - horizontal or vertical.

Options to change the size of a calendar during the process of developing, retaining the already designed layout, exist only for such types of a calendar as: Wall Calendars (A3, A4), desktop calendars (A5, A6), posters (A3, A2, A1). While creating a calendar, you can change also the type of calendar, still in this case you will have to start the inserting of the pictures anew. You can do it by clicking on the field "Calendar type and size.

14. Is it possible to place captions at the photos in an album or calendar?

Yes, you can add an unlimited amount of captions, while creating as a photo album so calendar! Next to the image layout types in the text formatting section click the button "Add Caption and click within the added caption field to be able to write your wishes, comments, as well as poems or fairy-tales. It is possible to move, rotate, resize the added caption field. You can select colour, size and font for the letters.

15. What do photo-covers mean?

Instead of standard covers you can create for your own photo-book original photo-covers – individually designed covers. Every image of a photo-book cover (front and rear), you can create different, adding one or more images as well as text and the background of own choice.

16. Is it compulsory to register to create an album?

No, it is not. However we recommend to register as:

The commenced photo-book or calendar will be stored for later revision;

The uploaded images will be saved;

You will be able to revise and repeatedly order the completed orders.

17. Does albumi.eu correct the photos prior to printing?

No, it does not, as while automatically completing the correction of pictures, there will be spoilt the already revised images. The client themselves shall be responsible for the correction of the pictures.

18. What shall be done with images in poor quality (slightly dark, foggy)?

Albumi.eu recommends before creating a photo-book or calendar to process and correct photos. Pay attention to the warning signs that appear at low-quality images, while inserting those photos into a photo-book or calendar. It is better not to use such images, but if one of the pictures is very significant to you and you want to insert it, despite possibly poor result, then select a small size for the image.

19. Is there necessary a powerful computer to create a photo-book?

No, there is not. If you can view internet sites on your computer, you can also create your own photo-album. Keep updating the internet browser on personal computer.

20. How long does the production and delivery of a photo-album or calendar take?

A photo-book and calendar will be manufactured within 3 - 5 work days. For an additional charge there is available the express production time of 1 - 2 work days.

21. Can I follow the execution of my order?

Yes, you can. In the Section Profile at the Completed Orders you can see the status of the order.

22. How shall I know, when my order is completed?

When your order is completed, you will receive a free of charge text message at the specified phone number, as well as an e-letter with the notification, that your order has been completed and dispatched via the delivery type of your choice.

24. Is it possible to get a discount for a big order?

25.What does it mean "Share with friends" and "Post"?

Clicking the button "Show to friends" , as well as in your Profile at the commenced and completed orders, clicking „Post”, you can demonstrate the photo-book or calendar you have designed to others, publishing it on the web-sites of Facebook.com, where in the section „I speak” there will be shown the link thereto, as well as send the link to a photo-book or calendar as an e-mail to a friend you have chosen.

If you want to send your friend a link to the photo-book or calendar you have designed, click on "Send on e-mail".

To share a photo-book or calendar with friends, it should not be compulsory ordered. Just design and share!

26. What shall I do to modify the already placed order?

If you want to modify anything in the already placed order (quantity, type of payment, delivery address, modify the order, etc.), then immediately contact by e-mail, explain the situation, remember to give the order number, it is possible to agree about everything!

27.I was presented with a gift voucher, How can I used it?

You can choose the design and order any of the offered by albumi.eu photo-books, photo-magazines or calendars. While placing an order, in the discount voucher box, please enter the number of your gift voucher, the value of the gift voucher will automatically be deducted from the sum of you order payment. Do not worry, if the photo-book or a calendar you have created costs less, the remaining value of the gift voucher you will be able to use for the next order. If the order exceeds the value of the gift voucher, you will be able to cover the difference.

28.What shall I do in dubious situations?

In case there is anything unclear pertaining to the placed order or already manufactured photo-book or calendar, please contact over e-mail, provide the order number and explain the situation. We will try to solve everything!

29. What is a photo-magazine?

A photo-magazine is a photo-book bound in laminated paperbacks. Photo-magazine has the cover of your own design – several pictures, captions and background – everything at your discretion. A photo-magazine is the most affordable of photo-book types, it has an appearance as from a newsstand shelf - elegant and glossy. In the photo-magazine it is possible to bound up to 5 pages.
